Awesome villa and hosts. We were a group of 7 friends who have travelled together in France before. While all our stays have been fine, Jane's place is by far the best. All bedrooms were first-class, kitchen is extremely well stocked and well laid out, indoor and outdoor dining spaces are excellent (we ate outdoors mostly - just beautiful surroundings), and a very large, comfortable living room. The pool was definitely a big highlight, heated comfortably, clean and great for laps. Two of us swam every morning of the stay. Jane and Marie were very helpful and supportive. Marie responded in minutes with any query and made sure to solve minor problems. We recommend the property at the highest level.

The house is beautiful and in extraordinary good condition. The many separate rooms made it perfect for a large family like ours. Everyone could have their own space. It is also a real home - which we felt and enjoyed highly. Jane and particularly the local contact were both extremely helpful and proactive to our needs.
There is a close by winery that is very nice and the people are extremely friendly.
We will have to come back.

Our family enjoyed our stay in the lovely villa. The rooms and the property are all so beautifully appointed, landscaped and well maintained. Everything was immaculate upon our arrival, and we so enjoyed the bottles of wine, filtered water, coffee pods and milk furnished for our arrivals. The pool and air conditioning were exquisite reprieves from the August heat and the ice machine was fabulous! We loved playing petanque and ping pong and picking fresh figs from the trees. We also want to sing the praises of the staff we interacted with. Marie is so lovely and helpful! She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable, recommending wineries and other attraction. She even helped us coordinate a tire purchase. Pascal was there before 7.00 in the mornings to water the plants and was so kind to cut bundels of lavender for us and even brought fresh croissants one morning! The pool man kept the pool clean and fresh for us. Thank you dear Jane and Andrew for a wonderful vacation.

A beautiful house. It has everything you need for a lovely stay. Very pleasant pool in a top location. The rooms and kitchen are also very well equipped. The location is very quiet and secluded, but there are supermarkets and bakery not far away. It is a good starting point for outings, e.g. the sea, lavender fields, Verdon gorge, wine tasting etc. Communication and check in and check out were uncomplicated and very friendly. We can highly recommend the house to everyone and will be happy to come back.

Ein wunderschönes Haus. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht für einen schönen Aufenthalt. Sehr angenehmer Pool in Top Lage. Zimmer und Küche sind auch sehr gut ausgestattet.
Lage ist sehr ruhig und abgelegen, aber Supermarkt und Bäckerei sind nicht weit entfernt. Ohne Auto aber nicht zu empfehlen.
Guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungengen, zb Meer, Lavendelfelder, Verdonschlucht, Weinverkostung etc. (30 min - 1h Fahrt)
Kommunikation und check in, check out waren sehr unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Marie ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus jedem sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The place is beautifully renovated with high quality furnishings. The surroundings are so peaceful and you can really relax with stunning views across the forest and mountains. The pool is amazing and a perfect size with easy steps at either end to get into the pool. The place has Aircon throughout which is a huge plus as well as mixer taps, a dishwasher and lovely lighting outside which makes the place very inviting in the dark too. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite and the other bedroom has the main bathroom right next door, so almost feels like an en-suite too. Perfect for 2 couples sharing or a family. We popped over to the vineyard next door which is worth a visit and also to the local airfield (specialising in Gliding) restaurant in Fayence where you can have an excellent meal whilst looking over the airfield. We hope to return again!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at Le Rouquier last week. The house is fantastic, pool fabulous and local area beautiful. Pascale was superb and always on hand for advice if needed. We had various days out taking into account your recommendations, my mum had a wonderful birthday at Chateau des Selves, we enjoyed a lovely meal one night in Seillans and spent a few hours enjoying the market in Fayence. Above all, the ability to relax and refresh in such a serene location was second to none.
